JACKSON, Mississippi—In observance of Women’s Health Week, the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center will host a Celebratory Open House Event for Women Veterans on May 14 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Pink Clinic.
Staff, including the Maternity Care Coordinator; Mammogram/Pap Coordinator; Gynecologist; and Women’s Health Medical Director, will be on hand to discuss the services available to women Veterans. Representatives from Mental Health, Nutrition, the Health Promotion Disease Prevention Program, and Compensation and Pension, will also be available. Interested in aromatherapy and mindfulness exercises? Those will be offered as well.
