December Drive thru Flu Shot Clinic for Veterans

Flu (influenza) season is here and VA encourages all eligible veterans to get their free flu shot, to help prevent the flu.
Why should you get vaccinated? The flu is very contagious. It is caused by a virus which spreads from people who are infected. Anyone can get the flu; it can make some people very sick or even cause death. The flu vaccine can prevent the flu.
What: Drive thru flu shot clinic
When: December 7 from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Where: G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center – West Entrance Portico.
In the event of rain, the drive thru clinic will move to the Main Entrance Portico facing Woodrow Wilson.
Who: Eligible Veterans – Veterans must fall into the eligible category for provision of health care services established by Congress. Most veterans who currently come to VA for their health care will meet the free flu shot criteria.
