The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center will host a drive-thru food pantry for eligible Veterans from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the West Entrance.  The Freedom Foods Food Pantry is open to Veterans enrolled in health care at the VA Medical Center in Jackson who meet the Mississippi SNAP guidelines.

 

Veterans are asked to remain in the vehicles while a staff member verifies the Veteran’s eligibility.  Once eligibility is established, volunteers will place the food items in the Veteran’s trunk.
