Flooding within the state of Mississippi has resulted in President Obama declaring 11 counties along the Mississippi River a Federal Disaster area, including Adams, Bolivar, Claiborne, Coahoma, Desoto, Issaquena, Jefferson, Tunica, Warren, Washington and Wilkinson. Other counties that could be affected include Holmes, Humphreys, Leflore, Panola, Quitman, Sharkey, Sunflower, Tallahatchie, Tate, and Yazoo.
